Jeffrey R. Izzard

Jeff is an associate in the firm’s Corporate and Business Services group, and has years of experience providing corporate legal counsel for all manner of clients, including established or entrepreneurial businesses, automotive suppliers, wind and solar energy providers, medical practice groups and private equity funds. He assists clients with their mergers, sales and acquisitions, equity and debt-based fund-raisings and corporate reorganizations, as well as their IP protection, software and trademark licensing, service and supplier agreements, employment and employee equity matters, business structure, and corporate documentation and governance. Jeff helps clients through their transactions and their day-to-day business and legal matters by understanding their goals and how to best accomplish them, and by being responsive and attentive.

Prior to joining Seyburn Kahn, Jeff spent 3+ years with a sophisticated corporate boutique in Chicago, 3+ of years in the corporate department of a major Chicago law firm and a handful more working with corporate clients on his own behalf. While in Illinois, Jeff also served as a lecturer on business corporations for the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education.  While at the University of Michigan Law School he was an associate editor for the Michigan Journal of International Law.

Jeff and his wife, Kami, are the proud parents of Henry and Kinsley.
