David F. Hansma

David is a shareholder in the Firm. David specializes in complex commercial and business litigation, including breach of contract, shareholder and partnership disputes, fraud, non-compete litigation, business torts, class actions, and real estate and banking litigation.

David graduated with a B.S in 2004 from Grand Valley State University and received his J.D., cum laude, from Wayne State University Law School in 2007.  While in law school, David was an Associate Editor of the Wayne Law Review and interned with the 17th Circuit Court in Kent County.

David has successfully represented plaintiffs and defendants in a broad range of litigation matters, including numerous multimillion dollar cases.  David regularly represents clients before Michigan state and federal courts, arbitration panels, and mediators, and has presented oral arguments in the Michigan Court of Appeals and the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
