Stuart is an Associate in the Firm, practicing in Commercial Litigation, including contract disputes, collections, employment law, business tort claims, post-judgment issues, real estate matters, and construction claims. He has been recognized multiple times as a Rising Star by Michigan Super Lawyers Magazine.
Stuart received his Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy Studies from Duke University in 2001 and earned his Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University Law School in 2004. While in law school, he was awarded the Leonard I. Neiman Scholarship for the outstanding student in Property, Land Use, and Real Estate Financing and served as senior member of the Moot Court team. During law school, Stuart also gained extensive experience in both Federal and State Courts, as a judicial intern to the Honorable Gerald E. Rosen of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan and a clerk to several Oakland County Circuit Court Judges.
Stuart is admitted to practice in the State of Michigan; the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan; the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan; and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
A former Division I Lacrosse All-American and Academic All-American, Stuart also volunteers as an assistant varsity lacrosse coach at Cranbrook Kingswood High School.
